An extremely historic piece of model engineering. This locomotive is a two cylinder model of a 3 cylinder pacific built by Raven to compete with the GNR A1 before the LNER came into being. On the side of this model is a plate that declares it was a retirement gift for a Francke C. Elliot and presented to him by the White Pass & Yukon Railway and Close Brothers Bank of London. So far, we know Francke C. Elliot was employed as a lawyer for the WP&Y in 1899.
The engine has been seriously abused by the previous owner and its tender frame has been ripped apart, so serious repairs are in order before it can pull a man.
