Every year it has become a tradition for my friends and I to look after the ConnRiver layout for several days for our multi-talented friend Steve Cryan when he goes to do business at the big exposition in Springfield. Of course all the steam and ridiculous rakes and consists come out when we do so.
I am really not one for small scale electric trains, but the United Brass Mallet impresses me, especially since every single marker and classification lamp is lit with a painfully miniscule incandescent lamp the way it should be. This model illustrates a ton of work. Come see the layout until Feb 23rd each year.
