Our excellent tour guide Ms Han Yong Eun keeps us entertained on our way back from the DMZ by singing to us a traditional Korean song, called ''I Will Go to Mount Paektu''. Mount Paektu, or Baekdu, is the Korean peninsula's tallest and most sacred mountain.
As an added 'bonus', my dad, nicknamed 'MaltaDaddy' by the tour guide, decides to continue the karaoke spirit and sings his own traditional Maltese song, that being 'Lanċa Ġejja u Oħra Sejra' (The Ferry Comes and Another Goes).
Video taken on the afternoon of 21st June 2017, on our tour bus on the way back from the DMZ to Pyongyang. The video is shaky thanks to the countless potholes that plague the roads connecting the DMZ to Pyongyang. Please ignore the date on the film itself, as I unfortunately never got around to updating it beforehand.
