North Korean child prodigies proudly display to us their performance skills in Pyongsong's top primary school. Pyongsong is a city just outside of Pyongyang, North Korea, and is trying to brand itself as the technology centre of the country.
From talented dancers, singers and even the spectacular drummer, these kids did not disappoint. Other classrooms in the school had them touch typing, learning English very enthusiastically and breeding some of the best upcoming table tennis athletes. Other rooms were also decorated with stuffed animals and plants, and one room teaching them about space also snuck in some propoganda regarding North Korea's own missile program. Nevertheless, visiting this school was the most impressive activity I did in North Korea, just after the DMZ visit.
Video taken on the morning of 21st June, 2017, at Pyongsong's top primary school. Please ignore the date of the film itself, as I unfortunately never got around to updating it beforehand.
Special thanks to Koryo Tours for making this all possible!
