The world was shocked by the Hamas attack into Israel on October 7, 2023, yet the last few years in Palestine suggested that the uneasy peace could not last. In Part 1 of a panel discussion between Norman Finkelstein, Alex Sheremet, and Palestinian refugees Mouin Rabbani, Musa Abu Hashhash, Arwa Hashhash, and Sana Kassem (recorded December 2022), we hear stories of ethnic cleansing, war crimes, Israeli apartheid, and the international neglect of an ever-escalating problem.
Norman Finkelstein is the author of "Beyond Chutzpah", "Gaza: An Inquest Into Its Martyrdom", "The Holocaust Industry", and most recently "I'll Burn That Bridge When I Get To It". Mouin Rabbani is an editor at Jadaliyya magazine. Musa Abu Hashhash is a B'Tselem researcher and both Sana Kassem and Arwa Hashhash are activists.
