An electronic rock cover of Normal Battle from FFX!
I've been playing through Final Fantasy X recently on my PS2 and a few of the tunes really stuck out to me - I was quite astonished that this song didn't get old even after about a thousand battles!
I had previously attempted a remix of this song - it was built mostly on the original MIDI data with new sounds, and I don't think it sounds very good by comparison: youtu.be/Qe7t95ccr2Y
Still, it shows progress! Remaking it from scratch, using the game's MIDI only as a reference, yielded much better results - not to mention that I'm simply a lot more comfortable with using these sounds now.
Also known as "Battle Theme" or ノーマルバトル from ファイナルファンタジーX.
