It is not particularly unusual for a tube train to pass through a temporarily closed station without stopping. It is however less common to encounter a train passing through an open station without stopping. This train passed through Holborn station on the Central Line just before 11.30am on Monday 5th February 2024. It is likely it was a faulty train, withdrawn from service on its way to the depot. The platform indicator displayed ‘Special’, the front of the train ‘Not-in Service’.
