This part begins with shots on Dhaka Airport station at night. Next scenes on board the Lalmoni Express en-route to Lalmonirhat. On leaving the train the outside temperature was about three degrees centigrade much colder than is usual at this location. The local people were not used to these conditions, many being inadequately dressed. Next a restaurant kitchen, semaphore signals, the interior of a rice mill. Chirirbanda station and some interesting Saxby & Farmer signalling equipment. Near Chirirbanda station is the British built Atrai bridge, one of many in Bangladesh. In the last part of the video there are more trains passing through busy markets, sometimes very close to the stall-holders.
