Super excited about my picks for #NonfictionNovember! I shopped my own bookshelves, sticking to books I already own to fit the prompts. The prompts are: 1) time, 2) discovery, 3) buzz, and 4) movement.
As I was adding links below, I realized that Captured Motion is INSANELY expensive!! My mom gave it to me, and she had gotten it as a promo giveaway type thing when she decided to be a member of the Baltimore Museum of Art (I think) for one year. Just sayin'.

I really appreciated this book - great survey of the history of Central Asia and the Middle East. Perfect as a jumping off point for deeper reading about specific areas, peoples, times that grabbed my interest.
