7 Aspects of My Home and Life that Don't Fit the Minimalist Aesthetic
To many, minimalism is about a clean, bright, and modern aesthetic. Some might imagine well-styled spaces, innovative furniture, along with lots of plants and big windows for natural light! To me, minimalism is less about an aesthetic and more about keeping things simple, getting rid of things you don't actually need or many things that don't serve a practical purpose, and using what we already have. Therefore, that often means that our space doesn't fit that ideal "minimalist aesthetic", and that's okay! Can you relate to any of these "non-aesthetic" aspects of minimalism?
