Pool migration is a new feature being developed to allow all objects in a pool to be migrated non-disruptively to a new pool, facilitating changes to the erasure code profile and conversions between replica and erasure-coded pools. We will discuss how this feature works, what limitations there will be, and some of the challenges we found during development.
