The last of seven nocturnes; this one has become my personal favorite. A soft, gentle melody begins in B minor, sinking downwards into heavier chords, then drifting upwards, through a dreamy scattering of clusters and whole tones; finally returning to the original melody in a major key - home in the end, remembering the dream.
