This collection of seven nocturnes was composed gradually, scattered over a period of three years. I digitally recorded them using Pianoteq during the summer of 2021, uploaded them individually (see playlist below), and have compiled them here into a full length sheet music video for convenience of listening. I always wanted to display the new artwork - this beautiful digital painting was created by Amanda, a good friend, for whom no. 3 was written.
These nocturnes are full of warmth and color, a bit melancholy, but overall calming and dream-like. If you've been following the nocturnes as I've uploaded them individually over the summer, I'd love to know which was your favorite! Thank you for listening and commenting; I've truly appreciated all the feedback.
I have also (finally) complied the nocturnes into an e-book, which I'm excited to say is available for purchase on sheetmusicplus!
