The Nobel Peace Conference 2025 celebrates Nobel Peace Prize laureate Nihon Hidankyo’s work for a world free of nuclear weapons.
The same day, the world marks 80 years since the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. With the testimonies of the survivors as a backdrop, and in a time of international tension, we discuss today’s nuclear threat and look at solutions which strengthen the work to ensure that these weapons are never used again.
The Conference took place at the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo and was live streamed to audiences across the world. Last year, the Nobel Peace Conference reached 200,000 digital viewers.
