No One Lives Forever is a prime example of nailing the tone and humor in a game.
No One Lives Forever's approach helped it stand out during a timeframe when some of the most iconic FPS titles, or games overall, came out. No One Lives Forever has a great blend of stealth and combat that goes with the 1960s spy theme, which it pulls off with grace in its presentation.

No One Lives Forever is also a testament to the quality and versatility of Monolith productions. I've covered some of their other titles - Fear and the Condemned series, which are very dark, bleak affairs. NOLF is anything but and is always a joy to revisit.
Although No One Lives Forever is fondly remembered by those who have played it, it has fallen to the wayside in a way that other titles haven't - not due to the game quality, but IP issues.
