Vampire Panic is a 2004 PS2 release that never saw a release outside of Japan. A niche title tucked away amongst the mammoth library of the Playstation 2. Thanks to a fan translation in 2020 - which can be quite spotty - you can now play it in English.
Is Vampire Panic some tucked away hidden gem lost to time? Not quite. It does have its shares of frustrations. But it does scratch a similar itch to Dead Rising. A certain itch that few games can scratch.
The act of rounding up helpless civilians to escort through dangerous territory can be engaging, thrilling, chaotic, and frustrating. But it has a few unique twists up its sleeve to keep you on your toes at all times.
