The neat thing about EXPO-8000 is that you don’t actually need high SOC voltage on Ryzen CPUs.

Take this Ryzen 9 9900X which easily runs DDR5-8000 using EXPO.

he BIOS auto-rules will set the SOC Voltage to 1.3V.

But because the memory controller runs at only 2 GHz,

We can easily drop SOC Voltage to 1V.
