In this brief follow-up to SkatterBencher #97, I overclock the Ryzen 7 9850X3D to over 6 GHz with AIO cooling.

The Ryzen 7 9850X3D was notably easier to push past 6 GHz than some of the other Ryzen CPUs I tested. That’s not surprising since I noticed also in my SkatterBencher guide that the 9850X3D seems to be particularly “boosty” at low voltage and low temperatures.

I'll first show you the BIOS configuration and highlight the important settings. Then we go into the operating system, and I show you what I do to get to 6 GHz.
