In this video, I’m testing Spectrum PPS AM230, a pure, unreinforced PPS filament designed for high-temperature and engineering applications.
No carbon fiber.
No glass fiber.
Just PPS.
But the big question is: does it still have that characteristic “metal-like” sound and stiffness I observed with other PPS materials? 🔔
I print standard test specimens and run them through my usual mechanical tests: tensile strength, layer adhesion, shear, torsion, bending, impact, creep and temperature resistance. As always, everything is tested the same way so the results are directly comparable to previous materials.
Let’s see how pure PPS performs without any fiber reinforcement.
