An interesting find in the archives, a good quality rip of a promotional video from early 2001 by the NMCAR, basically displaying services and territorial mass, alongside demonstrating the museum fleet. Interestingly, GS-5 2006 (known by all as Blair) is not seen nor mentioned which means this video was published on the airwaves prior to his discovery (I have a personal hunch in believing this very promotional video is what got the gun to smoke in terms of the efforts to actually locate him).
Some very cool things can be seen here, such as a pair of F3s that saw use on the NMCAR’s Abaco System long after many of their contemporaries retired in the mainland US, along with a U18B “Islander” or two. The promo makes light of Hamil, Byrne, and Lisa’s additions to the roster, funny how those were considered the newest members before they landed themselves a steam engine presumed to be a myth!
It’s very trippy seeing just Hayden and Lori on the Atlantis Limited (I did not know her name was short for Lorianna, but probably shouldn’t ask her haha)
