Henry Sonny Fisher (October 11, 1935-April 16, 2017) was a railway enthusiast and photographer. Over the course of four decades, Fisher has filmed and photographed several railroads across the United States, mostly in his home state of West Virginia, although a good majority of his works were released to the public, there have been some who haven’t seen the light of day, until now, we at Daylight Archives have recovered old film of one of Fisher’s catches in West Virginia, specifically, the Sierra Railroad 38, which hasn’t been in over 3 decades. We were surprised at the integrity of the footage, and have worked to restore the footage as high quality as possible, unfortunately some parts are still either blurry, jittery, or even cut to static, we hope this is not in any way an inconvenience for you all.
