No fucking idea how 1:35 didn't hit me. As far as I know the Brute Burst Counter doesn't have i-frames, so I must've got lucky with the elevation difference and had the animation duck under his poke. Outside of accidentally using the Kusa's Blade Spin too many times and blocking more hits than I intended to, I think this fight turned out alright. Got to show off almost every punish I wanted to; ideally I would've remembered to throw in Bird of Prey in one of the ki pressure combos or use the Enki soul core to also jump over his phase 2 running attack, but whatever, this is way better than the 2 or 3 other fights I recorded prior to this. I apologize if this is sloppier than usual, but oh well, there'll be plenty of time to give him a rematch in the final game.
Think this'll be the last Beta upload, now I don't really feel like fighting Yatsu no Kami and this is probably a much better fight to end this on. I enjoyed my time with this demo and really look forward to the full game and what it has to offer. For now the Nioh journey will continue in the first game, since there's still a few more fights I wanna record there.
