Note: I'm a fucking idiot and forgot that save files do not share settings(and they make the default volume maxed out) so the audio on this is ridiculously loud. Sorry about that, this issue is resolved by R-02.
No upgrades is an interesting stipulation where it only really affects specific situations. Certain enemy types(none of which are encountered in R-01) become much more annoying when you don't have things like Ripper mode or Pincer Blade charge attacks to quickly tear them apart. Most basic enemies however still die in one parry, due to Revengeance counter damage still being stupidly broken.
