It has been six years since the last main entry in the Disgaea series came out aside from some ports. This series has always been about creating a whacky experience in the strategy RPG genre with an overabundance of deep mechanics. That remains true for Disgaea 6 at its core, but the team at NIS also streamlined a lot of things seemingly in the hopes of attracting new players.
