I have a history with the Ninja Gaiden series.
Ninja Gaiden Trilogy as a kid
NG (2004), and Black in my early teens (ages 13 and 14)
NGII (360) and Sigma 2 (PS3) in my late teens (17 and 18)
Finished the NES trilogy at 18, via emulators
I also played NG3 and Razor's Edge in my early 20's, but only the demos. Eventually, I finished Razor's Edge when it was on PS Now (I miss that service) back when COVID hit.
And here we are with the unexpected 4th entry, which I was absolutely hyped for. I didn't buy it last year because I waited for a sale instead of shelling out $69.99. (FF7 Rebirth was the last game I paid that much for, and it was a huge letdown -_-)
Before you clown me, I WANTED to start on Normal difficulty, but after getting my ass kicked over and over, I had to switch to Hero mode because after 6 years of not playing an NG game, the rust had set in. Maybe someday, I will attempt a Master Ninja Run.
Ragebound and NGII Black will be played on this channel as soon as I buy them.
