A while back, I did stream the Nintendo Switch version, but due to complications with my laptop and internet connection, I bit the bullet and cancelled the playthrough. I didn't stream more parts of it, but I kept playing and... this game turned out to be my favorite JRPG of all time! Ys VIII is pure action RPG perfection, and I will die on this hill.
I liked the game so much that in 2023, I bought the PS4 version. Not only to unlock trophies but to record a brand new playthrough with the share/record button because my potato laptop isn't good enough to run the capture card I brought. Still saving up for a new gaming PC until then.
