Work is underway on the Nine Mile Creek Corridor Renewal Project in Bloomington.
About 80–90 trees and five acres will be cleared to promote a healthier forest — allowing sunlight to reach native plants, reduce erosion, and help remaining trees grow stronger.
This work supports streambank stabilization, habitat restoration, and safer, more accessible recreation.
