My hands-on walkaround of the Nikon P7700 compact travel zoom camera with a microphone input. It's a very nice quality camera, with good flexibility and features. It is hobbled solely by slow and sometimes very slow performance. Speed up the camera's reactions, and get rid of a few stupidly simple limitations, and you got a winner because the image quality and video quality is very good.
