Rimsky-Korsakov's showstopping 1888 work was inspired by the tales of One Thousand and One Nights and whirls with colossal and dazzling orchestral forces, highlighting the sounds of different sections as the story unfolds. Peep Alisa Weilerstein sitting in with the cello section after accompanying the DSO on their 2024 Florida Tour. Performed live at Orchestra Hall, February 24, 2024.
