Niki Reiser studied jazz and classical music at Berklee College of Music in Boston in the early eighties. He became famous as a composer through the various collaborations with his close friend, the filmmaker Dani Levy. Today Niki Reiser is one of the most sought for composers of the german film industry. Besides his composing work, Reiser also regularly perfoms as a musician. To us he spoke about composing and the relationship between films and their soundtracks.
