Story: Frozen-Heart Princess
On a distant spring day, at a ruin in full bloom,
a strange monster appeared before a little girl.
He was an illusion born from her lonely mind, and a true friend.
Though the world hated them, they had each other always,
and together they danced atop the brilliant blossoms.
These treasured memories have all vanished from her mind now.
Occasionally she is drawn to the ruin where she met the monster.
When she goes there, waves of a feeling she does not understand
wash over her heart. It is a thing somewhere between warmth and
utter loneliness, and she is ever swayed by its tides.
"Even though I'm alone, I sometimes feel like I'm not."
Weapon Story: Ange de Fleur
It is a terrible, terrible monster. His body resembles
jet-black armor, and his back is adorned with bizarre
insect-like wings. Long have we passed this story
down in our land.
The monster eats people, or perhaps it eats the dreams of those
who slumber—either way, their spirits break and they never
wake again.
This is how people came to fear the monster.
Though the monster is a being of fiction, some documents report
sightings of the creature.
The accounts are so lively, one might think they actually happened.
If such monsters do indeed exist, why were they created? Where
are they going?
And what do they search for?
