Iain Petrie | Nicole 78 rpm record 4182 "Trousers". J.W. Morton recorded 1904 @IKP1000 | Uploaded December 2020 | Updated October 2024, 10 hours ago.
One of the earliest types of disc record, UK made, with a hard cardboard centre covered with a celluloid material. The quality was not great and the Nicole name went out of business in 1906. This recording was released in 1904, not 1903 as stated in the video. it's also stated that it's comedy monologue but that's debatable... The second half is a slowed and enhanced version of the audio. Played on a 1920's gramophone with a BCN, Burmese Colour Needle (thorn needle).
