So to make things short 2 diodes low voltage drop out kind are needed and resisters are optional from my experience. I used zener diodes its all I had at the time. Any way the diagram I used is linked down below and the 3d print files i'll upload sometime soon. I hope this video helps someone out and sorry for lack of soldering in video next time I will. This project is simple so didn't think it is needed for this video.
