So lutris dropped ge 8 in favor for wow64 and uwu proton which broke my old guide a work around is use a proton manager and install proton 9-25 then the lutris guide will work fine. This is a guide for using faugus launcher which has its own built in proton manager makes this more simple.

"Quick run down is we use to have 2 separate libraries but they abandoned them in favor for one 64 bit library mimicking the 32bit one halo 2 doesn't like this so we need a older proton that has them separated still." A few times I say prefix and mean libraries my bad.
