Tonight on Hillbilly Crime, we are turning to the Crystal Rogers case and the courtroom moments that still have people talking.
We are looking at Nick Houck, the former Bardstown police officer and brother of Brooks Houck, and why his name has stayed tied to this case for years.
Nick was fired from the Bardstown Police Department in 2015 after investigators said he called Brooks during the investigation into Crystal Rogers’ disappearance.
Later, prosecutors also raised questions in court about a gun reportedly sold by Brooks Houck’s brother under an assumed name that could be connected to the murder weapon in Tommy Ballard’s unsolved killing.
