Tonight on Hillbilly Crime, we’re looking at two different child-welfare cases through the same hard question: when children are living inside a crisis, how many adults can say they didn’t know?

We’ll listen to a public statement tied to the Elizabeth Siders case, where family members have pushed back on the public narrative, and we’ll compare that to the Oklahoma case where an 11-year-old gave birth at home with no prenatal care. The facts are not the same, and we’re not pretending they are. The connection is the question: who had the power to see, report, intervene, or protect?

As always, we’re keeping minors protected and staying with records, court posture, and verified reporting.
