In this Nextion Display Tutorial we will teach you how to draw a Text box, Button and a Slider using Nextion Editor software. In this demo I am using Nextion BASIC NX4827T043 4.3" Display for Demo purpose.
What is Nextion Display?
Nextion is a HMI Display with a TFT Touchscreen and Serial interface. Using the NEXTION Editor software, you can quickly develop the HMI GUI by using drag and drop components like graphics, text box, button, slider, etc.
Using UART interface with just two wires (Tx & Rx) you can connect the Nextion display to any Microcontroller via a 5 volt TTL interface. Using this UART interface you can connect the Nextion display to any Microcontroller like 8051, PIC, AVR, ARM Processors, STM Controllers, Arduino boards and even IoT based modules like NodeMcu (ESP8266 & ESP32), Particle Photon as well.
