This commercial for the New York Daily News and its new "Extra" entertainment section aired in October of 1986. It's very flashy and 80's, with the sad decline of the times in New York City reflected by a collage of city landmarks ending with... the Hard Rock Cafe, ugh! At least Trash and Vaudeville got a quick shot--and they're still there!
