Designer Chris Mena created this one-of-a-kind jacket using a Sabrett hot dog umbrella and coffee bags found on the streets of New York City.
The jacket is one of the designs from his sustainable fashion collection ‘From the Street,’ which debuted at New York Fashion Week on September 10.
The collection transformed discarded items into ready-to-wear garments. The aim of ‘From the Street’ was to encourage viewers to reflect on what clothing means to them and how they consume it, according to Mena.
