In 1964 my family made our first road trip, destination New York City and the World's Fair. This was a life altering event for me and started my love of travel as well as the exploration of cities and skyscrapers. My dad, Eugene Meyer (1915-2006) has to be credited with affording me such travel opportunities that have almost turned into an addiction! He always had the latest in media to record our trips. This film was shot (silent of course) using an 8mm camera. The film had to be manually flipped and he accidentally ended up double exposing much of the trip. Makes for some interesting footing. Thanks dad. I really owe you. Love, Terri
