New Years Eve is the time of year when everyone is busy making a long list of resolutions. Here's why that's a terrible idea!

Goals are proven to be substantially more effective in changing behavior than resolutions are, mostly because goals are measurable and specific. In this video I argue that instead of making New Years resolutions, you should choose ONE thing you care about, make ONE goal, and spend 2016 achieving it. You'll be a happier person if you can identify what is truly important to you, focus your time and energy on the thing you care about most, and take steps toward living a life you're proud of.
