Location & Facility: Located in northern France, the Toyota Motor Manufacturing France (TMMF) plant in Valenciennes covers an 18-hectare "hyper-compact" site.
Workforce & Output: Employs approximately 5,000 workers and produces over 1,250 vehicles per day, focusing on the Toyota Yaris and Yaris Cross.
Integrated Manufacturing Process
The entire assembly process takes place within the same industrial complex across five connected workshops:
Stamping: Shaping steel body panels.
Welding: High-precision robotic welding.
Painting: Durability and surface quality treatments.
Final Assembly: Precise integration of thousands of parts.
In-house Plastic Components: Internal manufacturing of plastic parts to minimize reliance on external suppliers and optimize logistics.
