New tenants will soon be moving into the Institute of Advanced Manufacturing building on the Clinton Community College campus in Plattsburgh. Clinton County’s Director of Economic Development Molly Ryan says Champlain Valley Educational Services CV-TEC is in the process of drafting a lease agreement with the county.
With the new partnership, officials say the I-A-M will continue the mission of training the next generation of trade workers in the North Country. The Clinton County Legislature will soon vote on a feasibility study that will look at what Clinton Community’s property can be used for once the college relocates across town to the SUNY Plattsburgh campus scheduled to happen in 2025.
