I was fairly sure this was going to be a one-stream affair and as it turns out: Yep. I gotta say, I wish I liked this game more, but even when it was new I was lukewarm at best on it. It was momentous for sure, and some of it does feel like hindsight after getting three sequels that are also pretty bog standard, but it honestly does feel like the first 2D Mario game to change the game since Super Mario World really was Wonder. We'll get to that game eventually, and next up in the Mario series is thankfully Galaxy, but I'm still debating if I even want to play the other New games. We'll see.
