So I built a state of the art music studio, quite literally from the ground up by digging a new floor out from under my house. This project took a total of 4 years. I learned and incredible amount about acoustic design and surprisingly, I found a love for woodworking in the process. This video is a full recap about the build, the design process, and a bunch of other helpful side notes in case building a studio like this is something you are looking to do yourself. This studio tour details the thought process, challenges, and lessons learned during its creation.
