Yes, Space Engineers One is getting a new Economy 2 Update and DLC pack, and it will be coming this May. Announced recently, this update expands and evolves the economy systems with new gameplay features, improved contracts, deeper trading interactions – bringing more life to stations and the overall sandbox experience.
One of the biggest parts of the update is the addition of Animated Characters. These will now populate neutral trading stations in the 209 Update. They will have pathfinding abilities and a set of AI behaviours to interact with players and inhabit the stations, bringing more life to your worlds.
There are also Structural Blocks, which aim to expand the building possibilities in the game. Then we’ve got updated in-game Contracts. Of course, new Economy Ships are also going to be added, finally refreshing more of them for the game.
