I’ve decided to go back to filming a CRT. This time though I split the signal, one goes to my Sony CRT and the other goes to my Commodore 1084S RGB monitor with a camera pointed in front of it. It needs a little tweaking (stage 2 looks pretty terrible) for some reason I get a weird halo effect on the video from putting up the iso to sync to the refresh and to avoid the black refresh banding, can’t win either way really. Also I think I need to turn up the brightness and turn down the contrast a little. Seems pretty good otherwise.
