I was in Cardiff last night with a few friends and we popped in to a new live music bar. As we were walking in the band were just finishing the first half of their set. As I was queuing at the bar I swore they were playing the last level music of Streets of Rage on the Megadrive. I carried on and though nothing of it. The 2nd half started and it turns out they were a videogame music coverband! I bloody knew it! I am assuming the first half was Streets of Rage, which I was pretty gutted about because I love Yuzo's SoR soundtracks. The 2nd half was still pretty decent though with live renditions of Sonic 2. Good shit.
