Sony's newly acquired US patent (US 12,533,573 B2) is a patent for a controller without any buttons. Just a controller shaped device that has space for 2 screenlike places with touch capabilities where the player can customize button placement... But there won't be any tactile feeling? I can't imagine it feeling very nice. Well time will tell if this is one of those patents that they'll never touch or if this is the new PlayStation 6 controller. Regardless I think I'll stick to my Dualsense controller.
