The Persona Cosmetics daymask peptide lip balm has been a lovely addition to my collection!
The website says:
“DayMask Lip Balm’s advanced formula combines the power of peptides, squalane and hyaluronic acid to provide daily hydration and protection. Infused with blueberry, peach, & pomegranate extract to leave lips feeling soft, smooth, and nourished.”
It comes in three shades:
Clear - clear
June - a sheer pinky peach
Pomegranate - sheer pomegranate (reddish berry)
These have a subtle apricot flavor that I think is really nice, it’s slightly tart, which is a refreshing change from the standard scents we always see! I looooooove the apricot choice.
The formula is on the thinner, lightweight side and is neither slippery nor grippy. I do prefer thicker, cushiony formulas that smooth over lip lines but because this isn’t slippery I find myself reaching for it regularly. I haven’t tested it enough to know how nourishing it is on the lips, but I love that it contains the ingredient of the year - peptides! I personally reach for lip balms that contain ingredients that help improve the skin of my lips beyond dealing with dryness, like peptides and vitamin c, so I’m excited to see so many new lip launches with peptides.
